The Wisdom Keeper's Experience is our well-being program for adults. It's designed to empower men and women to step into roles as the keepers of wisdom in families and communities.
About the program
Step into the wilderness with The Wisdom Keeper's Experience - a wellbeing retreat designed for adult men and women. Set in the tranquil surrounds of Kangaroo Valley, NSW (just two hours from Sydney, three hours from Canberra and one hour from Wollongong), this retreat is designed to foster clarity, enhance collaboration and build meaningful human connection - far beyond what traditional conferences or strategy days can offer.
Participants will:
The program has been designed to build resilience, enhance self-esteem and empower the participant, and is delivered over 3 days and 2 nights.
Everything is provided - accommodation, nutritious meals, equipment and expert guiding. Each evening concludes around a campfire - an open-air circle for honest conversations, listening, storytelling, or simply sitting in presence.
For companies, the Campfire Boardroom program is an ideal platform to develop trust, friendship, effective communication and respect between co-workers – perfect for a corporate retreat or team "away day", with a 3 day/2 night or 5 day/4 night format.
Our location in Kangaroo Valley NSW, just two hours out of Sydney or three hours from Canberra makes it ideal for companies seeking a unique way to bond and empower their people.
Time spent in the wilderness and around the campfire provides a unique environment to share ideas, brainstorm, collaborate but more importantly, appreciate those around you in a way that is in stark contrast to the work environment.
Being in an outdoor environment immersed in the beautiful surrounds of nature has its own therapeutic benefits. When combined with experiential activities where small challenges are presented, the resulting energy has a powerful impact upon group dynamics. As the challenges incrementally increase over the duration of the camp, there requires support and nurturing from within the group.
The Wisdom Keeper's Experience is a magical opportunity to participate in a process of self-empowerment. The unique combination of outdoor adventure activities combined with time spent around a campfire simply chatting or 'shooting the breeze', the ideal environment is created for sharing to occur.
Sharing thoughts about the day’s activities, sharing responses to the outdoor challenges, sharing thoughts on life, possibly sharing one's own personal story but always knowing that you are in a safe and trusted space where you can be genuinely heard. It doesn't matter if at the end of the program you don't abseil off that cliff edge, what matters is that you have a group of mates who support YOUR decision because your space is being held by that group of supporters.
Results are not necessarily defined by success but by a cohesive response where participants have worked collaboratively in pursuit of an enriching outcome. A qualifiable process that nurtures intrinsic development and fosters positive relationships within a group dynamic.
It is our personal goal to deliver a program where the integrity of what we provide is paramount. Our intention is to combine all the holistic aspects of the outdoor environment with the intimacy of a quality group of participants to maximise the outcomes.
